LACASSINE, La., February 26, 2014. The American Advertising Federation in Baton Rouge recognized Bayou Rum with 13 ADDY awards, a Best of Show and Special Judges Award this past Saturday night at their annual awards banquet.  Bayou Rum won a Best of Show for Integrated Campaign and a Special Judges Award for the Bayou Rum Bug Zapper display bottle glorifier, 9 GOLD ADDYs, and 4 SILVER ADDYs.  American Advertising Awards were given for Visual Logo, Packaging, Sales Promotion Campaign, Collateral Material, Illustration, Point of Sale, Branded Environment, Vehicle Graphics, Website Design, and Social Media Campaign.  A total of 15 awards were given to Bayou Rum agencies BRZOOM and Gatorworks.

“Congratulations! The AAF Awards show was this past Saturday and Bayou Rum dominated the show with 8 Golds, 3 Silvers a ‘Best of Show’ and a ‘Special Judges Award.’ For a single brand to score this big is a rare occurrence indeed! In addition to those, Gatorworks won a GOLD ADDY and SILVER ADDY for their online work.  “We were excited to be recognized.  Yes, we won a GOLD for the bayourum.com website design and development, and then we won a SILVER ADDY for the Inaugural Toast Facebook social media campaign,” said Brian Rodriquez of Gatorworks in Baton Rouge, LA.  “Bayou Rum was a huge part of the awards event this year!”

All award winning entries have been forwarded to District competition for the next round.  Apart from awards, Bayou Rum is winning in the market coming off strong sales results in 2013, the brand is already recognized and called for by consumers and retailers in Louisiana.  Bayou Rum is well positioned for growth in 2014.
